Because you are an affiliate of Amazon, you can post a link to engagement rings their girlfriend would love. If that person clicks on the special affiliate link that is on your site it will direct them to Amazon. If they purchase a ring from Amazon, you will get a commission.
Do I Need a Website to Become an Affiliate?
There are some affiliate programs that require you to have a website or blog before they will allow you to join. However, there are methods of promoting products in which you do not need a website or a blog.
Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?
It is free to become an affiliate. I have joined many programs and have never encountered one program that requires you to pay a fee. Affiliate programs are free for two reasons. These programs help well known companies keep their business afloat and helps new companies grow. Affiliate programs also allow companies to save a lot of money in advertising costs which helps keeps their prices down.
Can I Really Make Money as an Affiliate Marketer?
Yes. However, it does take the willingness to learn, hard work and time. Success will not happen over night. A lot of people have been able to make affiliate marketing a full time job, which has allowed them to quit their jobs, spend more time with their kids, and pay off debt.
